Toyota had a coming up event in Automessut2016 exposition where was new feature, test driving selected models in addition to conventional car display. How to stand out in a positive way with competition.
Connecting the test drive with Toyota’s built in with driveco analytics system.
Gamifying the test drive with live data points from expo and retailers all over finland.
This data was made available in expo and online not just for test drivers but for anyone interested, making it transparent.
This fluently combines advertising, marketing and service design.
Directing people’s attention towards transparent test driving with tv ads, online banners, social media ads and informative websites by asking the question, do you know how much your car really consumes?
Building a 4 touch screen system in expo compartment where drivers could compare their results with each other. Electric drive portion, Co2 emissions, gas consumption and feedback of drivers feel of the test drive results updated in real time.
These results could be filtered by car model, by date or all time average.
To keep in touch with the test drivers after feedback question was contact info enquiry and for those who had visited the site instead of test driving themselves got shown retargeting banners in selected websites.
